Former Union-Tribune Publisher Takes Over at Denver Post

This morning, employees at the Denver Post met their new incoming president and CEO. Per a dispatch on the 120-year-old daily’s website, former San Diego Union-Tribune publisher Ed Moss will assume those duties on February 20.

Hodges has run the paper’s website and digital operations since 2009.

Publisher Ed Moss will also be stepping down from his position. He’ll stay on as a consultant.

San Diego CityBeat got a hold of the memo. In full after the jump.

Publisher Leaves Los Angeles Daily News For San Diego Union-Tribune

The San Diego Union-Tribune announced today that Ed Moss has been hired as the newspaper’s president and publisher. Moss resigned as president and CEO of Los Angeles Newspaper Group and publisher of the Daily News to take the job with the Union-Tribune. We wish him luck with his severely depleted staff.

Fred Hamilton will be replacing Moss as president of LANG, and Liz Gaier has been named interim publisher of the Los Angeles Daily News.
