News Corp. Names MTV Exec as New Communications VP

Nathaniel Brown is joining News Corp. as its new vice president of corporate affairs and communications. Variety reports that Brown will work closely with Dan Berger, the VP of corporate affairs and communications in Los Angeles.

Brown most recently worked as MTV’s senior vice president of corporate communications. He had been with the network since 2010. Prior to his time at MTV, Brown held the same position at XM Satellite Radio from 2005 to 2008.

Brown succeeds Jack Horner, who left News Corp. for a spot with Warner Bros.

Jack Horner Leaves News Corporation for Warner Bros

Jack Horner, News Corporation’s vice president of corporate affairs and communications, is leaving the company.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Horner is headed to Warner Bros. to take on a “senior publicity” position.

Horner is expected to start at Warner Bros. in September.
