Terri White Named Editor of Time Out New York

Terri White has been named the new editor-in-chief of Time Out New York.  White comes to the magazine from Life & Style Weekly, where she served as executive editor since 2012.

“Terri is a unique editorial talent known for transforming major entertainment and lifestyle brands into leaders across multiple platforms, including digital, mobile and social,” said Time Out North America’s president, Jennifer Morgan, in a statement. “Terri’s vision, creativity and strong track record for content innovation will be integral to Time Out as we continue our evolution to become the world’s leading platform inspiring people to expand, enrich and enjoy their social lives. We are so pleased to have her on the Time Out New York leadership team.”

White’s appointment is effective immediately. She will report to Morgan.

Jennifer Morgan Named President of Time Out North America

Jennifer Morgan has been named president of Time Out North America. Morgan comes to Time Out from Collective Media, where she most recently served as COO and CMO. She had been with the company since 2009. At Time Out, Morgan succeeds Aksel Van Der Wal, who is currently Time Out’s CEO.

“Jennifer’s background is the perfect complement to the Time Out Group executive team, and aligns with the organization’s long term growth strategy,” said Van Der Wal, in a statement. “Our continued commitment to the expansion of our digital offering across our global web platform and mobile and iPad apps combined with her digital media and advertising experience ensures that the Time Out brand is well positioned to meet the needs of our customers and partners.”
