Andy Rooney Becomes A Great Grandfather
Congratulations all around for “60 Minutes” sage Andy Rooney and his grandson, Fox News Pentagon producer Justin Fishel. Fishel and his wife, Gayle — a former Fox Newser herself — welcomed twins Andrew Kirby and Liza Cassidy a couple of weeks ago, TVNewser reports.
Turns out, broadcast is a tradition in the family. Justin’s aunt Emily Rooney (who is also his mother’s identical twin) is a former ABC News producer who now hosts a show on WGBH in Boston and Justin’s uncle Brian Rooney is a correspondent for ABC News.
Seems like a career in broadcasting is in the cards for these babies.
