There has been a change in the top ranks at Time Warner Cable. Multichannel News cited a company statement that said SVP and CFO Robert Marcus has been tapped as president and COO, replacing longtime executive Landel Hobbs. Marcus will work under TWC chairman and CEO Glenn Britt, who is optimistic about his new COO’s future:
Rob’s intelligence, strategic insight and clear understanding of consumers have distinguished him as one of the strongest CFOs in corporate America. As president and COO, he will no doubt lead the company to further success at a time of great opportunities and challenges in the communications marketplace.
Marcus will remain in the CFO role as TWC seeks out his replacement. Time Warner Cable operates in 14 New York area markets including New York City.
