Bored? Nothing going on tonight? Like blood? Five-foot-ten, 156-pound Brooklyn humorist, Marilyn Manson profiler, friend of FishbowlNY (and one-time mediabistro.com instructor) Jonathan Ames, 43, who sometimes goes by the name of “The Herring Wonder,” is set to take on six-one, 162-pound fellow novelist Craig “The Crippler” Davidson in an exhibition bout at Gleason’s gym in Brooklyn.

The last time Ames stepped into the ring, in 1999 against David “Impact Addict” Leslie, he broke his nose in the second round.
