Kinsey Lowe, the new nighttime managing editor, and Nancy Tartaglione-Moore, international editor, come straight from HollywoodWiretap.com, a website that once aimed to become the Drudge Report of entertainment news. Currently owned by Hollywood.com, this aggregator has several Deadline.com-derived items in its stream of “Exclusives.”

Lowe joins Deadline.com daytime managing editor Patrick Hipes, formerly at the Hollywood Reporter, while Tartaglione takes over for Deadline London editor Tim Adler. Finke says Adler will continue to contribute to the site as a freelancer.

Kevorkian Freed, Hugged By Mike Wallace

Jack Kevorkian was released from a Michigan prison today and was greeted by 60 MinutesMike Wallace, who hugged “Dr. Death” after getting out of a white van. (Which, of course, is the disarming “hug” tactic employed by most “old media” interviewers pre-interview.)
