Angeleno Magazine’s Hot List Becomes Julib.com Today

speakup08.jpgAngeleno Magazine publisher Modern Luxury has ditched its in-house “Hot List” in favor of Juli B, “the preeminent email resource featuring the latest and greatest fashion, dining, design, travel and just about anything new and cool,” according to ML’s press machine.

Starting today, the once locally produced e-mail blast announcing art exhibits and restaurant openings will be rolled into this uber site, julib.com.

The site has a made-in-New-York feel to it (because it is), but eds promise it will still have an ear-to-the-ground sense of the local:

“Just think of julib.com as the cool hip sister that’s been to places you’d kill to know about.

From New York to DC, Dallas to Los Angeles, julib.com is covering the cities you live in. But that’s not all. You’re so over those big box hotels boasting iPod docks and flat screen TVs. Let julib.com take you to a hideaway at the Hotel Fabriken Furillen on the Isle of Gotland with their travel edition.

And if Nigel or Jean-Paul keep asking when you’re coming to visit, get the lowdown beforehand with julib.com editions in London and Paris.

See, there’s nothing to be afraid of!”

Yeah. So silly of us to fear guys from out of town who want to bring us local news.
