Los Angeles Magazine Adds Two New Editors

Nancy Miller is joining Los Angeles magazine as its new deputy editor. Miller comes to Los Angeles from Fast Company, where she was west coast editorial director. Prior to her time at Fast Company, she spent five years as a senior editor at Wired.

In addition, the mag has poached LA Weekly food writer Elina Shatkin to become a new senior editor. Tough week for the Weekly‘s food section.

Both editors will start their new gigs in early March.

Fast Company Picks Up New West Coast Editorial Director

Fast Company has hired Nancy Miller as its new West Coast editorial director, the mag announced today. Miller comes to Fast Company from Wired, where she was a senior editor in charge of Hollywood and entertainment coverage. Before that, Miller worked as a staff writer for Entertainment Weekly and an associate producer for KCRW. She’ll continue to be based in LA.

Fast Company also announced the hire of Creativity editor and Advertising Age contributor Teressa Iezzi as its latest staff editor. Iezzi will work out of the mag’s New York office.
