The newest iPad app from Forbes, titled “The ForbesLists,” is free and available in iTunes today. This is the second iPad app from the magazine, which launched “Forbes Investment Guide Plus” during the summer.

Nina LaFrance, Vice President of Consumer Marketing for Forbes, said the app is bound to be popular because of the brand power behind the lists, like the magazine’s annual 400 Richest People in America rankings:

We’re excited to create a direct iPad experience for users to access the Forbes 400 list, one of our most valuable editorial assets. Forbes’ lists are an extraordinary franchise, and we will continue to expand our offering of apps to provide our customers easy and fun access to them.

The ForbesLists app offers users a variety of functions, including sorting by age, residence and net worth, as well as keeping track of individuals that are found on the lists.

FishbowlNY’s first list will be titled, “Maybe you’d be on this list if you had saved all those pennies as a kid instead of throwing them at your brother.”
