Perez Hilton to Star in Gay Dads of New York

The kinder, gentler Perez Hilton era is going into overdrive.

BunimMurrayLogoPer a Bunim/Murray Productions announcement today, the original Internet gossip king is developing a reality show titled Gay Dads of New York. No word yet on who else, if any, other celebrities might be featured. Hilton so far is the marquee name:

Set in New York City, the reality docu-series will follow Hilton, who recently became a single father, and a group of gay dads, single and married, as they support each other through the ups and downs of raising children.

“Up until now, people know me more for my opinions than who I am,” says Hilton. “This show will give viewers the opportunity to get to know the ‘real’ Perez Hilton and my family, as well as some other really dynamic gay dads, and the women that make up their support system. I am a recent transplant to New York City, looking for friends and open to – hopefully – love. To new beginnings and this exciting new venture!”

Yahoo! and Wenner Media Strike a Cross Branding Deal

Yahoo! and Wenner Media are teaming up to create new content as part of a new cross-branding deal. Under the agreement, Yahoo!’s omg! and Yahoo! Music will share content and maintain a brand presence with Us Weekly, Rolling Stone and Men’s Journal; and vice versa.

The reason for the deal is simple: To extend all of the brands’ reach.

“This partnership combines boutique-quality entertainment content with unmatched scale,” said David Kang, Wenner Media’s chief digital officer, in a statement. “Rolling Stone and Us Weekly are iconic brands in music and celebrity news. As a leader in digital media, Yahoo! is the perfect partner to help these brands grow their digital footprint.”
