Meredith Promotes Two, Names New EatingWell Publisher

Meredith Corporation has made two promotions and named Stephen Bohlinger publisher of EatingWell. Bohlinger comes to Meredith from Hearst, where he most recently served as associate publisher of Food Network Magazine. He succeeds Tony Catalano, who has been promoted to publisher of Meredith’s Special Interest Media. Catalano will now oversee a variety of titles, such as Diabetic Living, Kitchen and Bath Ideas, and Country Gardens.

Additionally, Christine Guilfoyle has been promoted from publisher of Every Day with Rachael Ray to group publisher, where she will now also oversee both EatingWell and Every Day with Rachael Ray.

Bohlinger will report to Guilfoyle and Catalano will report to Steve Levinson, vice president, group publisher, home solutions.

Stephen Bohlinger Named Associate Publisher at Food Network Magazine

Stephen Bohlinger has been named Associate Publisher at Food Network Magazine. Bohlinger was most recently Vice President, Publisher, for Cooking Light magazine, a position he held since 2008.

Beginning May 31st Bohlinger will report to Vicki Wellington, Vice President, Publisher, at Food Network Magazine, which is one of Hearst’s strongest titles.

Wellington thinks Bohlinger will only make the magazine stronger, adding, “Steve has an incredible depth of knowledge in the epicurean space. His leadership, relationships and strategic thinking will be a huge asset to our brand, and we are thrilled to have him join the team.”
