Carl Reiner Revisits a Movie He First Watched in 1927

Last night at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, there was a special screening of a restored version of original Best Picture co-winner Wings. The 1927 action drama is being released next week on DVD for the first time by Paramount Home Entertainment as part of the studio’s extensive 100th anniversary year celebrations.

KABC-TV reporter George Pennacchio, CBS2-KCAL entertainment correspondent Suzanne Marques and other journalists covering the event all mentioned an astonishing hook. Suzanne Marques Named Entertainment Reporter for CBS2 & KCAL9

Already a regular contributor to the nightly news on CBS2 & KCAL9, Suzanne Marques has been named the new Entertainment Reporter for the sister stations.

Prior to her work for CBS, Marques was a general assignment reporter for the Fox 11 Morning News and Good Day LA. The Downy native and USC graduate originally got her start in television journalism as the web producer for KNBC.
