The Huffington Post: Liberal Leanings Will Continue

Everyone knows that The Huffiington Post is a website that leans pretty far to the left. For some reason, Arianna Huffington has tried to say that’s not true, especially since AOL purchased the site. But according to Forbes, Taylor Gray, HuffPo’s Senior Vice President of Marketing, slipped and confirmed the website’s bias:

Asked about the political orientation of the sites, Gray replied, ‘AOL is more conservative than HuffPost. The two pieces of the business do target different audiences, and will continue to have different home pages with different styles of entry.’

Oops.

If the company line since the merger has been to downplay the politics of each site, Gray really put his foot – the right or the left – in his mouth with that quote.
