Taxi Cab Seatbacks To Be Outifitted With NBC Programming, Al Roker’s Head

Here’s some invasive commuter news: NY10 — New York’s “Taxi Entertainment Network” — has inked a deal with NBC to broadcast content from WNBC, NBC News, MSNBC and CNBC in the seatbacks of taxi cabs.

Cabs with monitors featuring the likes of Al Roker and — BOOM! WAP! — John Madden will begin showing up in selected NYC taxis in the first half of ’07.
