FishbowlNY is not a fan of James Dolan, CEO of Cablevision and Destroyer of The New York Knicks. However we feel about Dolan, one thing we wouldn’t do is threaten him, because the police don’t take that kind of stuff lightly. That’s a lesson Johnny Giamella, a 19-year-old Staten Island resident, has just learned. Albeit a bit too late. The New York Daily News reports that Giamella was arrested after posting scary-sounding tweets regarding Dolan.
In one tweet, Giamella wrote “James Dolan, it’s officially time to die.” He followed that subtle note up with a slightly different version — “Death to James Dolan” — just in case anyone was confused.
Giamella also posted one picture of himself pointing a gun at the camera and another of himself naked, with only a gun covering his groin.
The photos are slightly more creative ways of critiquing Dolan’s impact on the Knicks, but still not recommended.
