The Rebecca Project Goes After Village Voice Media On Sex Ads

Just a few months after they helped get Craigslist to drop its “erotic services” section, The Rebecca Project for Human Rights has now launched a campaign against Village Voice Media–owner of the LA Weekly–who in absence of CL has now become what The Daily Beast called in a recent story, “the nation’s premiere sexual marketplace—and the most mainstream venue for the buying and selling of underage girls.”

The Daily Beast‘s story came in response to The Rebecca Project taking out several ads in VVM papers, criticizing the company and their website Backpage.com, which advertises sexual services.

VVM offered no comment to The Daily Beast.
