The Sun Is Set (Ha) To Publish A 3D Edition
In news of the fun and retro-futuristic, The Sun is planning to run a 3D issue this summer in anticipation of the World Cup. Each issue will contain both 3D ads and editorials, including a World Cup chart, and will come with 3D glasses.
You’ll recall that China’s Shiyan Evening News recently embarked on a similar stunt, only that publication saved the 3D technology solely for ads. About dinosaur theme parks!
The Sun is reportedly charging more for advertisers who wish to purchase a colorful 3D ad in the paper and is said to be rolling out a TV campaign next month in anticipation for the June 5th issue.
