Thirteen’s American Masters Kicks Off 25th Season with Jeff Bridges Profile
He is the reigning Academy Awards Best Actor for his role as a country singer in Crazy Heart.
Now legendary actor Jeff Bridges, whose film career has spanned 40 years, gets the American Masters treatment.
The Dude Abides (paying homage to his famous turn in The Big Lebowski) debuts tomorrow night nationally on PBS. The 90-minute documentary takes viewers from Bridges’ earliest TV work to his latest powerhouse in True Grit. (Click here for an excerpt from the program.)
American Masters, the multiple Emmy Award-winning series, is produced by Thirteen in association with its parent company WNET.
It premieres Wednesday night on Thirteen at 8 p.m.
