Thomson Reuters today announced that it has hired Kenneth Li as editor in charge of technology, media and telecoms at Reuters.

Li, who most recently covered media for the Financial Times, has previously worked at Reuters as a global media correspondent and was a co-founder of the Reuters blog MediaFile. He’s also worked at the New York Daily News, the Industry Standard and TheStreet.com.

“Ken is an exceptional journalist with a deep knowledge and passion for technology and media,” said Reuters company news editor Tiffany Wu in a statement. “We want to make sure readers get the richest, most insightful news and data in this space, and Ken’s recognized authority will help us deliver superior coverage.”
