Those CNN rain slickers would be nice if only you could see the logo

During the lead up to Hurricane Katrina, we noticed that certain CNN reporters were sporting spiffy red windbreakers emblazoned with the company logo (only certain reporters, mind you; sorry, Miles O’Brien). This time, however, Jon Klein made sure his whole team was decked out, branded, and ready for a Category Four (that’s where windbreakers are super helpful. We assume they’re certified up to 120 miles per hour). It’s important to know who we’re watching, and we appreciate CNN’s efforts, but we just wish the logo could have been a little less obtrusive…like these just-revealed, narrowly rejected versions:
