Time Inc. has named Greg Giangrande its new Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Giangrande comes to Time from The Dow Jones Company/The Wall Street Journal, where he worked as Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer since 2008.

“Greg is one of the most highly-regarded executives in his field – he brings with him deep knowledge of the media business and considerable experience in recruiting, developing and engaging employees in our industry,” said Time’s CEO, Laura Lang. “Promoting a culture of collaboration and an environment that drives performance and creativity is a top priority for Time Inc. and Greg is well-suited to lead us in accomplishing that goal.”

Giangrande begins April 30.
