Times Prints Reader Letter Responding To Carr’s WSJ Column

nyt logo.jpgDavid Carr‘s column about The Wall Street Journal this week renewed the rivalry between the News Corp.-owned paper and Carr’s New York Times. We have heard how the Journal feels about Carr’s take, but what do Times readers think?

Today, the Gray Lady published a reader’s letter responding to the piece, and Carr says there’s lots more where that came from.

The reader, Howard F. Jaeckel, said he was “amused” by Carr’s column, but didn’t disagree with his take. Instead, he took the Times to task as well:

“It isn’t that I haven’t noticed the same thing on a few occasions. It’s that my eye for political bias in what should be objective news reporting has been acutely sharpened over the last decade by countless instances of an unmistakable leftward slant in the articles and headlines that appear (and don’t appear) in The New York Times.”

What do you think?
