Tony Haskel Named VP Ad Sales for Money

Tony Haskel has been named vice president of advertising sales for Money. Haskel was most recently executive sales director at Fortune, and previously served as Bonnier Mountain Group’s national advertising director.

“I have known Tony for more than a decade and have worked with him on several occasions,” wrote Jed Hartman, group publisher of Time Inc.’s News and Business Group, in a memo to staff. “The more I work with Tony the more I appreciate his talents and abilities.   Tony’s passion, work ethic and creativity have been significant contributors to Fortune’s successes since he joined as Executive Sales Director in 2010.”

Haskel will report to Hartman.

The full memo announcing Haskel’s appointment is below.

Team,

I am delighted to announce that Tony Haskel is the new Vice President of Advertising Sales at Money.  In this important role, Tony will oversee Money’s sales efforts across the US, partnering closely with Anne Toal, VP Sales of CNNMoney and Brendan Ripp, VP Sales of FORTUNE, as he drives Money’s sales to new heights.  Tony will report to me.  I have known Tony for more than a decade and have worked with him on several occasions…. the more I work with Tony the more I appreciate his talents and abilities.

Tony’s passion, work ethic and creativity have been significant contributors to FORTUNE’s successes since he joined as Executive Sales Director in 2010.  He has also been a major factor in shaping a winning culture across our group and is widely liked and respected throughout the industry.  Prior to returning to Time Inc, he served as National Advertising Director at Bonnier Mountain Group, served as the Advertising Director at Conde Nast Portfolio and held a variety of management positions at Fortune and Money, including Los Angeles Manager at Fortune and New York Advertising Director atMoney from 1995-2006.  In his spare time, Tony is an expert skier, an intermediate words-with-friends player and a horrible Bruce Springsteen impersonator.   Please joining me in congratulating Tony Haskel, our new VP Advertising Sales at Money.

Cheers,

Jed Hartman
