Tribune Pays by the Post/Vegan Chef Pays With Hot Air

no-money.gif

Over at LA Observed, Kevin Roderick is showing his old-media roots. Tribune is looking for entry-level writers for a local entertainment site aimed at 18-to-34-year-olds where they’ll post about clubs, bars etc. And they’ll get paid by the post, which is pretty standard, but KRod sees doom ahead.

FBLA is far more distressed by this ad for a research assistant:

Duties include the following:

Read various books and magazines and write summary of content, outline each book’s structure, and analyze writing style. Other possible duties: Work with a team of interns to help market the cookbook and cooking and raw food classes; help test recipes; misc administrative duties.

This is a barter exchange. Famous vegan chef will provide you with a private consultation and help coach you to better health. Interns attend cooking classes and acquire in-depth knowledge about the vegan and raw food dietary lifestyle. Rare opportunity!!!!

And what an opportunity it is! You can starve to death while writing a vegan cookbook.
