Fox Not Rooting For Subway SeriesThe Major League Baseball playoffs begin next week, and while many of us New Yorkers may be rooting for a Subway Series between the Mets and Yankees, Fox executives aren't exactly in a 7 train mood. As yesterday's Wall Street Journal notes, Fox, which is in the middle of a $4.3 billion, 13-year broadcasting deal with MLB, would like to see a Yankees-Dodgers World Series, as both teams represent top two TV markets.
