The Latest Elevation of a Daily Show Star
The Onion A.V. Club a.k.a the serious part of the weekly satirical newspaper has an interview with the Daily Show's Rob Corddry, whose profile, as FishbowlNY pointed out earlier, is quickly rising along the Stephen Colbert-Steve Carell-Mo Rocca continuum. Corddry has kind words for the Daily Show executives for being cool about letting their stars work on other projects unlike a "sort of Lorne Michaels control over us" as well as insight into the show's "field reporting." AVC: At this point, you can't assume that people don't know who you are, and what The Daily Show is. Has it made doing those harder? Q+A: Rob Corddry [The Onion A.V. Club] Email This Post |
