U.S. Government Quitting Print Media
In a cost saving measure, the Department of Homeland Security told its employees to give up subscriptions to papers such as The New York Times and the Washington Post, as well as magazines including Time.
But don’t worry, our government won’t be wandering around blindly without its news. Why? As the AP reports, the Feds aren’t worried because “most publications can be found online on an in-house Web site.”
If even Uncle Sam is taking the news for free, can there be any hope for the survival of print?
