Unsubstantiated Rumors: Hearst Edition
We hear that there were massive layoffs at Seventeen‘s production department last week. We also hear that at a meeting with Hearst production directors this morning, execs announced they were eliminating all production positions company-wide starting in 2008.
The recent job cut massacre at the Hearst-owned San Francisco Chronicle makes us think that this story isn’t as outlandish as it sounds.
