USA Today Kicks Off Ad Campaign

usa_today_logo_3.23.10.jpgUSA Today has launched a far-reaching ad campaign aimed at getting the message out that the paper is “What America Wants.” Launched yesterday, the campaign will feature ads appearing both in print and online, including Advertising Age, Adweek, Brandweek, and Mediaweek, adage.com, adweek.com, brandweek.com, mediaweek.com and CNNMoney.com, as well as on CNBC, and Captivate. Additional online ads will appear on networking sites Facebook and LinkedIn.

According to a press release sent out by the newspaper, the campaign “emphasizes USA TODAY’s signature voice both in its clear and concise format as well as its balanced and unpretentious reporting on the issues that matter the most to Americans, whether that is American foreign policy, last night’s big game or ‘American Idol.’”

USA Today has been changing a lot of things up as of late, creating a social media team and introducing its brand into Starbucks coffee shops. Plus, it just so happens to be the periodical of choice for Colorado inmates.
