Vanity Fair Ga-Ga Over Madonna’s African Relief Work

madonna3BIG2305_468x550.jpg

Madonna’s making a documentary about Africa and orphaned children, according to Punch Hutton in the July Vanity Fair.

Currently, she is working with film director Nathan Rissman on a documentary which aims not only to heighten awareness and effect change in Africa

Rissman, who’s got a carpenter crew credit on the 2004 Re-Invention World Tour, is conveniently married to Shavawn Gordon, nanny/stylist/co-parent.

Madonna is married to a film director, as well. Wasn’t she directing a short, too? So busy.

Hutton knows about documentary film making from her work with Graydon Carter on The Kid Stays in The Picture, for which he cashed a check.

Not everyone is as enchanted as Hutton with Madonna’s good works in Africa.
