VF‘s Best-Dressed: Political Wives All the Rage
We had come to the conclusion that the Sartorialist had made “International Best Dressed Lists” obsolete. But apparently not so according to Vanity Fair who will publish this year’s round-up in its Sept. issue. Not surprisingly Michelle Obama and (VF cover-girl) Carla Bruni both made the top ten. On a side note, Maureen Orth was on the Today show yesterday talking about her Bruni cover-story and mentioned that the only time the former supermodel appeared to lose her cool was when Orth pointed out how similar Bruni looked to Sarkozy’s former wife. So there’s that.
Someone named Princess Mathilde of Belgium is number one. Also, the Internet being what it is you can vote on whether you agree with the judges choices, or maybe, if you’re like us, whether you’ve ever heard of them before today.
