The trailer for Crazy Love, New York PR veteran-turned filmmaker Dan Klores‘ second full length documentary, about the roller-coaster relationship between New Yorkers Burt and Linda Pugach in 1959. For those of us not born in the 1940s, here’s the backstory: A jealous Burt hired thugs to throw acid on Linda, which blinded her for life and sent him to prison. When he was released a decade later, he proposed. She accepted.
Hence, crazy.
