One of the unique, err, kicks of covering New York's media community is that it's chock full of characters. Case in point: The Brooklyn Paper's Gersh Kuntzman. In the clip above, the publicityhound legend picks up the Suburban Newspapers of America's "Editor of the Year Award"... and gives a speech that consists mostly of excerpts from his hate mail.

Edifying, amusing, creepy, etc. It's worth reading.
