Weekend Update: Tina Fey Out At SNL
As FishbowlNY reported some three months ago, Tina Fey is leaving the Saturday Night Live cast after nine seasons to focus on her upcoming NBC sit-com 30 Rock full-time. Fey made the announcement on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno Friday.
Via TV Guide:
“I know I’ll never ever not be in there in some way,” she said during the TCA session for her show. “I’m never not going to call up with an opinion or show up on hiatus wanting to write a sketch. But I will not be in the cast next year.”
