WPIX Welcomes Frances Rivera to Mornings
Veteran anchor Frances Rivera is joining WPIX/Channel 11. Sister site TVSpy reports Rivera will team with Sukanya Krishnan on the PIX Morning News. She’ll begin at the station in late August.
Laurie Dhue will remain as the morning fill-in anchor until Rivera takes over.
Rivera comes to New York after a 10-year stint at Boston’s WHDH.
