Yet Another Reporter Leaves The Daily
Three out of the four of The Daily’s culture editor Sasha Frere-Jones‘s original hires have left this month, WWD reports. The latest to deflect is culture reporter Molly Young.
Young will be leaving to write for New York magazine features editor David Haskell, but she doesn’t have a contract.
All this deflection is giving rise to speculation — what exactly is going on over at The Daily? Young herself had only good things to say: ““It was the best time I ever had at a job,” she told WWD. And Jones appears to be moving ahead in filling up the emptying slots, with the news that he hired Zach Baron from The Village Voice coming out last Wednesday.
