You Really Are the Best, Most Important Person Ever

timeyou.pngIt really is all about You. At least Jon Friedman seems to think so. Remember back in 2006 when Time magazine named you, us, everyone person of the year? Well, after a lot of scoffing it looks as though they may have been right: the further into Life 2.0 that we get the more the world revolves around us! Maybe the Time cover wasn’t merely a publicity stunt after all, maybe the folks over there really can see the future.

There’s no doubt by now that these 21st century user-driven innovations — Facebook, Friendster, YouTube, MySpace, LinkedIn, Yelp (oh, yes) and others — are taking over the way people communicate with one another.
On that note, in this week’s issue: “The Beltway-Blog Battle: As old and new media square off in Campaign 2008, each one is getting more like the other.”
