FishbowlNY likes to see our readers have a good time. We were recently emailed info about the following two parties:

  • On Friday night, Not for Tourists travel guides is sponsoring a release party for their 2008 New York guide at Spiegelworld (Pier 17, South Street Seaport). It’s open to the public and will feature an open bar courtesy of Heartland Brewery. Open bar + Spiegeltent = Awesome. 6pm-9pm for your post-work alcoholiday pleasure.

  • On Saturday night, Good magazine is hosting an anniversary party at the Museum of the American Indian. Admission is restricted to Good subscribers, who get an open bar and dj sets from Tim Sweeney of DFA and members of the Brazilian Girls. If you don’t subscribe to Good, well… you’re just breaking Al Gore‘s heart.
