Professional/Personal Overview
A creative and curious writer, I currently contribute content and serve as a freelance copy editor for F&W Media's Stitch Craft Create, a magazine devoted to the creative lifestyle. Additionally, I write a weekly real estate feature for The Huntsville Times & al.com and contribute freelance pieces to Spark Magazine (lifestyle pub) and GrowingUp (parenting pub). Before temporarily bidding big city life adieu, I developed two-Web based lifestyle features for Chicago's original online city guide, Centerstage Chicago. "Traffic Jam" chronicled my city-goes-country girl adventures; and, the quirky Q&A "Tea @ 3 profiled everyday Chicagoans with unique flair. I also contributed various food, lifestyle & entertainment content to the site. I am eager to continue learning and writing about the way people live now, immersing myself in activities I'd like to learn and crafting experiential stories to share.
