It's all about health and healthcare for me! I love researching and writing about any and all topics related to preventive health including diet/exercise/stress management, innovations in healthcare and stories about people who have struggled to manage chronic illness or have endured injury. I survived a three-year health crises with exercise and nutrition and am obsessed with helping others do likewise. As a NASM certified personal trainer, self-proclaimed organic foodista, former marketing manager for a large healthcare system and concerned Mom, I read voraciously about what I need to do to keep my family in top form. I'm passionate about sharing what I've learned, and if I can do that with a touch of humor, then all the better!
