Professional/Personal Overview
Travel, music, arts and lifestyle are my specialties, but I've published pieces on topics as varied as head-and-neck cancer, agri-foods and vintage punk rock. I'm a natural explorer and observer, and I deliver carefully crafted, concise and accurate work on deadline.

Stand-out points in my career include touring North America with bands both as a bass player and a journalist, and having a girly sleepover in a death row cell in Canada's most haunted jail.

I'm also an ace copy editor who's edited subtitles on high-profile film and television projects, copy in Alberta Venture and Alberta Oil magazines, and one novel. In my spare time, I listen to records, play music, take photos, make art and thrift shop.
