For 12 years I covered the business of arts and culture in New York City, philanthropy, higher education, nonprofits and the theater industry at Crain's New York Business, where I broke stories on the arts institutions involved in the rebuilding of Ground Zero, trends in the theater industry, and the finances of New York's major cultural institutions.
