Professional/Personal Overview
I'm a sharp cultural critic, a pattern recognizer, and have a knack with a phrase. Writing is my outlet for a voracious taste for information in all its forms: web, print, music, film, art. I've been published in a number of cultural outlets, and also specialize in travel writing: after four years on staff at Conde Nast Traveler, I worked as a full-time blogger for a travel video start-up. I'm passionate about technology and environmental issues I recently completed a master's thesis on mass-media "green" branding as well as about food and food politics.

I've been published in print in Cond Nast Traveler, Print, I.D., and online for Flavorpill.com, Travelistic.com, One-Earth.com and others.
