Professional/Personal Overview
I'm a copy editor who makes even cranky writers happy.

As a widely published writer, I've been edited enough to be sensitive to what to fix and when to step back, how to query without ruffling feathers, and the difference between fixing an author's words and changing his or her voice. I have edited fiction and nonfiction books, and the production editor with whom I work most often frequently hears from authors who are very happy with my work.

I am certainly open to writing assignments as well, but look forward to more copy editing work to because I enjoy it and it gives my writing muscles a rest.
