I am an award-winning freelance travel writer that covers all things discerning--travel, cars, motorcycles, luxury goods, wine, spirits, restaurants. Based out of New Orleans, I routinely write about the exotic concoction of food, music and fun to be had in my hometown. As a seasoned copywriter, my clients have included both nonprofit organizations, (National Geographic) and businesses (M.G. Maher & Company, Inc., an international shipping company). My corporate portfolio includes web content, social media, newsletters, ad copy, and marketing collateral. |

On and off for ten years, I have been 4-wheeling through the harsh Australian Outback researching, "Tracking Uncle Ludwig," a book and documentary about my distant uncle the explorer Ludwig Leichhardt. Uncle Ludwig led an epic expedition through the Top End in 1845 only to disappear three years later with his entire party of men, animals and equipment while trying to cross the heart of the continent.
