Professional Experience

I'm a longtime magazine editor with more than 20 years of professional journalism and writing experience who's recently gone freelance. As editor of Beverage World magazine and author of the blog, drinkableglobe.com, I have been responsibly imbibing my way around the world. I joined Beverage World in January 2003 as senior editor and was promoted to editor in chief four years later. I am also the author of the book, "The Year of Drinking Adventurously," released by Turner Publishing in December 2015. My tenure in liquid literacy has exposed me to some of the best libations the world has to offer and given me access to the producers and purveyors of such fine refreshments. I have been interviewed on beverage-related topics for CNN International, Fox Business News, CNBC, Beer Sessions Radio, NPR, BBC World, BBC Radio, The Associated Press, The New York Post, Financial Times, WCBS-TV, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Investors Business Daily, Advertising Age and several other media outlets.
