Professional Experience

I'm a certified personal trainer and professional dancer, which makes me an authoritative voice on fitness, wellness, and performance. I also have extensive experience covering politics, culture, and entertainment. My recent highlights include writing about a dancers' hack for preventing knee injuries, and the clone of my hometown that exists in China.

General

A fitness feature I wrote for Dance Magazine on Nederlands Dans Theater member Danielle Rowe. I interviewed Danielle to learn how she stays in shape on tour and on vacation, and shared her tricks for adapting to the diverse repertory she is expected to master.
Researchers at NYU Langone Medical Center noticed that dancers suffer from debilitating ACL injuries far less frequently than athletes do. They conducted an analysis of jump technique in dancers and athletes to find out why, and I wrote about how their findings apply to the average exerciser.
Developers in China have built a resort community based on my hometown, Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I wrote about why these vacation home destinations are so popular, and how both Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Jackson Hole, China, carefully cultivate an upscale Wild West aesthetic.
