Professional Experience

A freelance journalist with a background in hard news, I have recently expanded to health, travel and lifestyles pieces as well. I've covered everything from immigration in Arizona and the U.S. territory of the Northern Mariana Islands to the best foods to eat for heart health for both newspapers and magazines. I enjoy writing about women's issues, education, health, business trends, personality profiles and everything in between. My website, kristieaton.com, has my complete bio, resume and more work samples.
