Professional/Personal Overview
Efficient, versatile and highly reliable, I'm a one-stop shop for strong, concise writing and solid reporting. I work quickly and deliver results for my clients. I've been working as a self-employed journalist, fiction writer and copywriter for a decade. My contracts have been diverse: I have edited a cookbook (At Home by Steve Poses), written children's books and YA fiction; reviewed fiction and cookbooks; penned magazine features; reported on the pharmaceutical industry; contributed copy for newsletters, websites and annual reports; and covered the Philadelphia dining and art scene for a variety of publications. I have extensive experience in custom publishing, advertorial copy and ghost-blogging. Areas of special interest include food, dining, medicine and health, books, travel and the Philadelphia region. My debut YA novel, PRETTY CROOKED, was published in March 2012 by Katherine Tegen/HarperCollins. For more information, see http://clearcutcopy.com.
